Who Am I?
Hello, my name is Jo and I’ve been in the fitness industry for 15 years. I’ve been involved in fitness all my life competing in many triathlons and marathons.
My pilates classes became very popular with great feed-back on feeling stronger more mobile, flexible and pain free!
So I decided to find a company that could offer level 4 back pain and gain more knowledge in this area.
I chose Body Control Pilates, I had to re-train in order to do the Level 4 back pain course, which led to my training in other courses such as: standing pilates, older adult pilates (covering strokes, Parkinsons disease, arthritis, knee, hip, shoulder replacements etc), pilates in breast cancer rehabilitation and many more to come!
I am a member of the Body Control Pilates Association, this means that my knowledge is up-to-date with continued professional development points (CPD).
I am known for using many props in my classes, including blocks, pillows, chi balls, triad balls, swiss balls, magic circles, weighted toning balls, bands and foam rollers, these can help with a lot of the exercises and progression.
My aim is to help you achieve your goals however big or small and enjoy the benefits of pilates.
